MAGICAL MEMORIES / PERSONAL TRAVEL PLANNING
From “what if” to “we’re going”
You bring the idea. I help you work through the details.
01 / YOUR TRIP, THOUGHTFULLY PLANNED
1 Start with the people taking the trip
Share who is traveling, children’s ages at travel and the occasion or purpose of the vacation. Then name the experience you hope to have: busy park days, a relaxed beach week, a cruise, a hotel stay or a guided journey. You do not need to know the destination yet.
If travelers have different interests, list the priorities they share and the ones they would enjoy separately. Mention room-layout, dietary, mobility or sensory considerations you want to discuss.

2 Set a workable budget and window
Give a comfortable total budget, not just a room budget. Include transport, accommodation, admission, meals and the extras you actually value. Explain whether your dates or departure location can change.
Separate essentials from preferences. This makes it easier to compare a convenient hotel against a more spacious room or decide whether a particular upgrade improves the trip enough to justify its cost.

3 Compare a focused shortlist
Ask me to explain why each option fits and where the compromises are. Compare like-for-like assumptions: the same travelers, usable trip days and required components. Check the specific room and ticket descriptions rather than relying on marketing photographs.
Keep optional items separate. If something important is a request rather than a guarantee, identify that before treating it as a settled part of the trip.

4 Review the booking details
Before committing, check traveler names, dates, sleeping arrangements, included components and transportation. Read supplier payment, change and cancellation terms and ask about anything unclear.
Availability and pricing can change until booking is confirmed. Discuss travel-protection options without assuming every reason for cancellation will be covered; the actual policy terms determine coverage.

5 Shape the itinerary around your pace
Use your confirmed arrangements to build a flexible daily plan. Give important experiences a place, but protect meals and recovery time too. Confirm current reservation requirements directly for your dates.
For mixed-age groups, agree on meeting points and responsibilities if some travelers split off. A plan should make the vacation easier to enjoy, not turn every hour into an obligation.

6 Prepare and keep information accessible
Review documents, supplier check-in instructions, arrival arrangements and any relevant official travel requirements. Keep confirmations and essential contact details accessible even when you cannot rely on an internet connection.
If plans change, consult the booking’s instructions and contact the responsible provider promptly. I can help you understand your arrangements, but urgent emergencies should go to the appropriate local emergency or supplier support service.
