MAGICAL MEMORIES / DESTINATIONS
Universal adventures, thoughtfully planned
Orlando or Hollywood. Big thrills or a mixed-pace visit. Build a plan that fits your group.

01 / YOUR TRIP, THOUGHTFULLY PLANNED
Start with Orlando or Hollywood
my travel materials include both Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood. Choose the destination before comparing tickets: the travel logistics, hotel choices and shape of a visit are different.
For Orlando, think through your park priorities, possible rest days and whether you want a resort-centered stay. For Hollywood, consider how the park visit fits into your California arrival, hotel location and any other travel. Neither destination should be treated as a copy of the other. Tell me what you are most excited to experience and how much of the trip you want to devote to parks.
02 / YOUR TRIP, THOUGHTFULLY PLANNED
Match the park plan to the ticket
List the experiences that matter to your group, then compare tickets against that list. Check the parks covered, eligible dates, number of days and any movement between parks you expect to make. Opening-era promotional products are not a reliable guide to today’s tickets.
For an Epic Universe visit, allow time to discuss priorities within the park rather than adding it as an afterthought. my reference material includes Celestial Park and the importance of a workable park-day plan. Current attraction access, operating schedules and requirements need to be checked for the actual visit.
03 / YOUR TRIP, THOUGHTFULLY PLANNED
Choose room layout before choosing a favorite photo
The supplier room guides in my research distinguish several useful accommodation styles. Royal Pacific materials include standard rooms, larger suites and children’s suite layouts. Stella Nova and Terra Luna references describe standard two-queen arrangements. Dockside references distinguish standard rooms from two-bedroom suites with kitchenette-style facilities.
These are starting points for a conversation, not guarantees of availability, exact room features or current occupancy rules. Ask me to verify the specific room category before booking. A separate sleeping area can be valuable for different bedtimes; a standard room may work well for a group that plans to spend most of its time out.
04 / YOUR TRIP, THOUGHTFULLY PLANNED
Compare the whole hotel stay
A useful hotel comparison includes room layout, total cost, transportation, break-time convenience and confirmed benefits. Do not assume every Universal hotel provides the same optional park access or every ticket includes the same extras.
- Confirm guest limits and bedding for your exact room.
- Ask about transport to each park you plan to visit.
- Check whether an advertised benefit applies to your hotel, room, ticket and dates.
- Review parking and any other charges relevant to your travel.
- Compare dining and rest-day options as well as the room itself.
05 / YOUR TRIP, THOUGHTFULLY PLANNED
Plan for riders and non-riders
A mixed-interest group needs more than a list of the most intense attractions. Identify the experiences everyone wants to share, places for a break and times when splitting into smaller groups could make sense. Agree where to regroup rather than relying on everyone checking their phone constantly.
Height requirements, accessibility arrangements and operating conditions are attraction-specific. Verify them with current official information. A traveler who prefers shows, scenery or a slower pace should have a real plan—not simply be expected to wait while everyone else rides.
06 / YOUR TRIP, THOUGHTFULLY PLANNED
Make arrival, meals and downtime part of the plan
Keep arrival plans flexible enough for transport and hotel check-in. For park days, think about breakfast, water, a practical bag and where a mid-day break would work. Dining choices should fit the route through the day rather than require repeated backtracking.
my service list includes dining assistance, stroller rental and airport transportation planning. Ask which arrangements are suitable for your trip and which need separate booking. Any additional service, rental or transfer should be clearly identified in your quote.
07 / YOUR TRIP, THOUGHTFULLY PLANNED
Combine destinations without overloading the vacation
Disney and Universal can be discussed within one Orlando trip, but combining them introduces separate ticket decisions and potentially a hotel move. Compare the benefit of staying near each part of the trip against the time spent packing, checking out and transferring.
If you are also considering a cruise or another destination, map the travel days before adding more activities. A transfer day is not the same as a full park day. Build an itinerary around the group’s pace, not just the number of places you can fit onto a calendar.
08 / YOUR TRIP, THOUGHTFULLY PLANNED
Questions to settle before booking
Does the ticket cover the parks and dates we want? Is any optional express access included, separately purchased or not part of this quote? What room category fits our party and sleeping arrangements? How will we reach the hotel and each park?
Send Sue the ages of children at travel, your must-do experiences, dates, budget range and any reservations already made. Flag mobility, sensory and dietary requirements early so the relevant supplier arrangements can be checked. Your final proposal—not an old hotel list—should be the basis for the booking.
